Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Team Thirteen Limited ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of WanEats (搵食) and our websites at waneats.com and teamthirteen.co.uk. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who can use WanEats

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your Google sign-in secure and for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

WanEats is for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse it — including not scraping, reverse-engineering, overloading, or disrupting the service, and not accessing it by any means other than the interface we provide. You must only share links you are entitled to share, and you must respect the terms and creators' rights of the platforms those links come from.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in WanEats, such as your saved places and notes. You grant us the permissions needed to store and process that content to run the service for you — including sending a shared video link through our extraction pipeline and third-party geocoders, and delivering a place you choose to share to another user. You confirm you have the right to submit and share what you give us.

Extracted information

WanEats uses automated speech and vision AI to extract restaurant details from the videos you share. This information may be incomplete or incorrect. It is provided for your convenience only — please verify details (such as a restaurant's name, location, and opening status) before relying on them, for example before travelling. The service and its extracted results are provided "as is".

Intellectual property

WanEats, the 搵食 / WanEats name and logo, and the content of our websites are owned by Team Thirteen Limited. Video and reel content belongs to its respective creators and platforms. WanEats is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, or any restaurant featured.

Availability and changes

WanEats is an evolving product. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may also update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, WanEats is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using WanEats and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Team Thirteen Limited is registered in England & Wales, Company No. 14146216.
